University-Wide Commencement Information
The University of Utah General Commencement is the campus-wide opening ceremony, kicking off many events across campus and serving as a collective celebration of the University community and the collective success/accomplishments of the graduating class. It will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 6:30pm in the Jon M. Huntsman Center. We recommend that you attend, as this year’s ceremony will feature some exciting changes and additions that should be memorable.

College of Pharmacy Convocation
Convocation will be held Friday, May 3rd, 2013 at 10 AM in the Olpin Union Ballroom.
Cap and Gown Orders
Student graduates can pay for and pick up graduation regalia during the University Bookstore's Grad Fair, March 27-30, 2013. All of the ordering of announcements or caps and gowns must be done through the University Campus Store.
Line-up/Seating of Graduates
Family and friends are invited to attend convocation. Tickets are not required. Parking is open all day of graduation.
Students or guests with disabilities (including individuals in wheelchairs and those who have limited mobility) attending the College of Pharmacy Convocation Ceremony can request accommodations by contacting Marion Lennberg at 801-581-7503 or firstname.lastname@example.org. The College requests that guests give reasonable prior notice and, since space is limited, plan to arrive early.
Campus parking lots may be used at no charge during Convocation and Commencement ceremonies. Families are encouraged to drop off elderly guests and those who cannot walk long distances in front of the Ballroom of the Student Union Building before parking their cars. There is a parking lot directly east of the Union Building for parking. Guests may also park in other lots and catch a University shuttle to the Student Union Building.
There will be a reception held immediately after convocation at approximately 11:30 a.m. at the Alumni House, Burbidge Room. The Alumni House is just east of the Student Union Building - just across the parking lot. All graduates, family, friends and faculty are invited to attend.
Diplomas will be mailed from the Office of the Registrar to student graduates within three months of graduation.
