Brooklin Oaks Pharmacy
Paso Robles, California

An independent pharmacy in Paso Robles, CA is looking for a pharmacist who would be interested in helping it thrive as well as co-owning it. Please see the information below for more information about this pharmacy as well as who to contact to apply.

Brooks Balaris started out 20 years ago in an independent pharmacy in Paso Robles and trained as a pharmacy technician. Eventually an opportunity arose at Longs Drugs to further her skill set within the industry; a move that paid off both professionally and personally. After over a decade of experience with Longs they were acquired by CVS. By this time, any trace of an independent pharmacy in town was gone having been consumed by corporate giants.

Having lived in the area since 1969 and being very close to the community at large, Brooks decided Paso Robles deserved a community pharmacy that could provide the personal attention the residents deserved and really seemed to need. And so was born Brooklin Oaks. Now only a short (and quick!) year later the homegrown and only independent pharmacy in town has grown faster than anyone could have suspected or even dreamed. Brooklin Oaks is not only taking new customers each and every day, but is actually on the cusp of being self sustaining! (3 years ahead of the expected time line!) It has become very clear the community does support and need a smaller independent pharmacy with a personal touch. With all of the growth in California and Paso Robles in particular, this is a very exciting opportunity for anyone interested in being on the ground floor of building a successful community pharmacy.

The current pharmacist has decided to pursue her career in another direction. Ideally, someone who has passion for the industry, a true need to help people and a desire to take another route than the typical corporate chain path is what Brooklin Oaks needs to continue to grow, thrive and serve the charming community of Paso Robles. Someone interested in co-owning (or owning!) and growing a small business in a thriving central coast community is what Brooklin Oaks needs now. Could this be you?

If so, we would really love to hear from you and look forward to discussing the possibilities of this exciting future.

James Lester
