Hal & Joan Wolf Receive Distinguished Alumni Award
For Founders Day 2021, the Wolfs were recipients of a Distinguished Alumni Award. They have served their community, excelled professionally, and supported the university in its mission.
Joan Wolf is professor emerita of the U’s Graduate School of Education. She retired from the faculty after 20 years in the Department of Special Education with a joint appointment in the Department of Educational Psychology.
Harold Wolf was dean of the U’s College of Pharmacy from 1976–1989. He also taught at the U during his entire tenure as dean. Together, the couple established an endowment for the Wolf Prize in the College of Pharmacy. They also established the Meritus Scholarships through University Neighborhood Partners, awarded to graduating high school seniors.
