American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists Open featured Molecular Pharmaceutics PhD student Shannuo Li (Kopeček/Yang) as a Rising Researcher! The article “Spotlighting rising researcher Shannuo Li: MATCH: a flexible and safer approach to T cell–based immunotherapy for multiple myeloma” describes her research on the Multi-Antigen T Cell Hybridizer (MATCH) platform. MATCH is an outcome of Kopeček/Yang laboratory studies on self-assembled hybrid biomaterials and drug-free macromolecular therapeutics, a research direction supported by NIH since 2011.
Shannuo shared, “I was truly honored, and it was exciting when they reached out to highlight our MATCH platform. I’m especially enthusiastic about advancing this work toward meaningful translational impact and building collaborations that drive the next generation of drug delivery forward.”
Dr. Jindřich Kopeček commented, “Shannuo demonstrated intellectual independence, persistence and motivation in pursuing her research aims. Her excellent research advanced the project forwards.”
AAPS Open, the flagship open access journal of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, provides a global forum for the rapid publication of original research and discussion that demonstrates innovations and applications of scientific concepts and techniques across the breadth of the pharmaceutical sciences.
Congratulations Shannuo on this exciting recognition!
