Shreya Goel and Ayden Berndt Awarded by UOR
Shreya Goel, Ph.D., and her undergraduate mentee Ayden Berndt were each selected by the University of Utah’s Office of Undergraduate Research as 2026 awardees!
Ayden was named the 2026 Outstanding Undergraduate Researcher Awardee for the College of Pharmacy in recognition of his research under Dr. Goel’s guidance. His work demonstrated independent and critical thinking, active engagement in research activities across campus, and meaningful contributions to the research culture within the College of Pharmacy.
Dr. Goel was honored with the 2026 Outstanding Undergraduate Research Mentor Award for the College of Pharmacy for her dedication to fostering undergraduate research excellence. The award celebrates her commitment to guiding students, active participation in research initiatives on campus, and her positive influence on the teaching and research environment within the department and college.
