Yue Lu Presents at Vitae 2026
Vitae 2026, a hallmark event recognizing research excellence across University of Utah Health, featured six rising-star faculty who are on the forefront of their professions. The researchers captivated listeners with stories of their science and how they got to where they are today, highlighting research excellence at U of U Health.
Dr. Yue Lu, Assistant Professor, Molecular Pharmaceutics presented "Health in High Definition: Micro and Nano Technologies the Make Health Care Personal." Her lab builds nanotechnologies, microfluidic devices, and computational tools to view health in high definition. This high-resolution view can help explain why disease and treatment responses differ from person to person, bringing health care closer to being personalized, predictive, and preventive.
The annual symposium was hosted by Vice Chair for Faculty Affairs and Development Michael Rubin, MD, PhD, in partnership with the University of Utah Health Research Office.
