The researchers captivated listeners with stories of their science and how they got to where they are today, highlighting research excellence at U of U Health.
Dr. Yue Lu, Assistant Professor, Molecular Pharmaceutics presented "Health in High Definition: Micro and Nano Technologies the Make Health Care Personal." Her lab builds nanotechnologies, microfluidic devices, and computational tools to view health in high definition. This high-resolution view can help explain why disease and treatment responses differ from person to person, bringing health care closer to being personalized, predictive, and preventive.
