Aubrey E. Jones, PharmD, MSCI, is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacotherapy at the University of Utah College of Pharmacy. She received her PharmD from the University of Colorado School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and then went on to complete two post-doctoral fellowships. One was in clinical anticoagulation management and research at the University of Utah College of Pharmacy, and the second was through AHA/PCORI and the University of Utah School of Medicine in Shared Decision Making and Atrial fibrillation. During this time she also completed a Masters of Science in Clinical Investigation. These experiences led to her interest in patient education and learning theories which led to NHLBI-funded grant exploring the use of learning theories in patient education. She has a love for games and escape rooms which has led to the incorporation of serious games and gamification into her teaching. She believes education should be fun and wants to improve the way we teach both patients and pharmacy students. In her free time she enjoys doing escape rooms, playing games, traveling, dancing, and spending time with friends and family. She grew up in Colorado and is a medium sports fan - mostly football (Go Cougs and Spurs!)
