University of Utah College of Pharmacy Career Fair
The University of Utah College of Pharmacy Career Fair is an annual event held on the first Wednesday of October at the Skaggs College of Pharmacy. Organized and sponsored by the Utah Student Pharmacists Alliance, this event offers a unique opportunity for employers, residency programs, and pharmacy organizations to connect directly with pharmacy students.
Event Highlights
The Career Fair features two key components:
- Career Exposition: During this session, organizations set up tables in the atrium of the pharmacy building, where pharmacy students can mingle throughout the day to learn more about each organization. Employers have the opportunity to showcase their programs, share employment opportunities, and network with future pharmacy practitioners.
- Interview Session: Employers can conduct one-on-one interviews with students who sign up in advance. These interviews can be tailored to the employer’s goals, whether as an opportunity for informational discussions or as a preliminary screening to identify potential candidates for jobs or residency programs.
