Research Interests

  • Outcomes research on medication misuse and drug safety
  • Assessment of healthcare data to support regulatory decision-making for drug and biological products
  • Development of strategies and approaches to utilize RWE in the drug approval process
  • Target trial emulation using big data when RCT is not available
  • Cost-effectiveness study of healthcare technologies including drugs, procedures, devices, and services

Haeseon is currently a research fellow at the Department of Pharmacotherapy, University of Utah. She received her PharmD from Kangwon National University (2017) and MS in Regulatory Science from College of Pharmacy, Kyung Hee University (2023). Before falling in love with HERO, she worked in the pharmaceutical company as regulatory affairs. Her research interests include health technology assessment and pharmacoeconomics, but these have a potential to expand further.
