Dr. Jeong-Yeon Cho is currently a post-doctoral research fellow at the Department of Pharmacotherapy, University of Utah College of Pharmacy. He earned his PharmD (2017) and PhD (2022) in Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) from Sungkyunkwan University. His expertise is in Health Technology Assessment. He has been involved in several cost-effectiveness analyses and has generated real-world evidence in various disease area (Covid-19; Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus; Hereditary angioedema; Ovarian Cancer; Breast Cancer; Hepatocellular Carcinoma; Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma; and so on). He has applied several cutting-edge HTA methodologies in oncology (e.g., Matching-adjusted indirect comparison, Develop external comparison for single-arm trial using real-world data, flexible survival extrapolating, etc.) He worked on developing several economic evaluation dossier for submission to the HTA body. His current projects have been focused on health technology assessment of a behavioral intervention. He is also working on developing an approach to incorporate social determinants of health as part of infectious disease modeling to support policy decision making and implementation process.
