Job Description
Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects within the information technology department. Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Build and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project. Responsible for defining requirements, planning, tracking, and managing projects of medium to high complexity in a demanding IT environment.
Responsibilities
- Identifying and estimating IT project resources, scheduling delivery, and task details
- Budgeting for and managing IT project costs
- Purchasing Hardware/Software for IT projects
- Managing supplier involvement throughout project
- Managing change, project deliverables, and project direction
- Manage IT department staff and CPCSS help desk support resources
- Work with CoP Computer Steering Committee on the commitment of Student Funds
- Produces and directs the Continue education webinars and master recording
- Oversees NIH security protocols for the CoP ADD program
- Work with and assist University Information Security as required
- Represent the CoP interests in the UUHSC technology counsel
- Manage AV support for the 582, 581
- Support and maintain Visix Electronic Display system
- Support of CoP Facilities' IT infrastructure
- Oversees the records for the surplus of retired computer equipment
- Building security review via video or physical walk through
- Be able to support and complete tasks of the Computer Support Technician
