PhD Student Committee and GTC Meetings
PHTX PhD students meet with their Committees and the GTC (Graduate Training Committee) twice a year. The GTC meetings typically take place in December and June. Students who work in PHTX Labs and have different home departments are invited, but not required, to meet with the GTC.
PhD students should meet with their Committee before meeting with the GTC, and need to bring 2 completed forms to the GTC Meeting:
- Committee Meeting Form--this is a summary of the student's committee meeting
- GTC Form--this has a section for the student to fill out, for the Committee Chair to fill out, and after the GTC Meeting, the GTC will fill out a section of the form as well.

Post Doc Annual Review & Forms
Post Docs Annual Review, Annual Reappointment Letter, and Annual Mentor Agreement
Post docs are appointed for a 12-month period of time, in this case, from July 1, 2025-June 30, and will be informed in writing via email by May 15, 2025, whether or not their appointment will be renewed.
Post Docs should have a formal review at least annually, usually in April or early May. Post docs and mentors should fill out their portion of the Annual Review Form before this meeting and update the Mentor Agreement during the meeting. A copy of the Annual Review, Continuing Appointment Letter, and Mentor Agreements should be sent to Julie Callahan by June 1, 2025.
