The team is actively seeking highly motivated postdoctoral research fellows who are interested in developing research skills in health economics and outcomes research. During the fellowship program, fellows will be involved with a range of health economics and outcomes research projects related to evidence synthesis, economic evaluation, the use of real-world evidence, value assessment, health equity, health policy and system research and global health.

Example of projects include:

  • Evidence synthesis including systematic review, meta-analysis, umbrella reviews, and network meta-analyses of health interventions.
  • Use of real-world data to address research questions related to healthcare resource utilization and outcomes especially to examine health-related disparities
  • Health economic modeling approaches to estimate economic burden, cost-effectiveness, and budget implication of interventions. Fellowships are typically offered for 2 years and based at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah. USA. Candidates must have a PhD, MD, PharmD, or an advanced degree in economics, health policy, pharmacy, medicine, or related areas. Experience in outcomes research, health economics, or related field of research is preferred. Candidates must also have excellent written and oral communication skills.
