    Dr. Patikorn is a lecturer at the Department of Social and Administrative Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. He obtained his PharmD degree in 2016 and PhD degree in Social and Administrative Pharmacy in 2022 from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand. He was a postdoctoral research fellow under supervision of Prof. Chaiyakunapruk at the Department of Pharmacotherapy, College of Pharmacy, University of Utah during 2022-2023. His research interest includes applying research skills in health economics and outcome research, evidence synthesis, and health policy and systems research, to generate evidence to inform decision-making in various topics especially global health, neglected tropical diseases, and access to high-cost health technology.

    Profile

    Chia Jie graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons) in 2010 and practised as an oncology pharmacist for several years in Malaysia, obtaining BPS board certification in oncology in 2016.

    Following that, he pursued his PhD at the National University of Singapore, examining health outcomes among cancer survivors. Chia Jie has also been involved in both observational studies and interventional trials evaluating supportive care measures to ameliorate cancer- and treatment-related complications.

    He is currently a research assistant professor at the Department of Pharmacotherapy, College of Pharmacy, University of Utah.

    Dr. Sajesh has more than fifteen years of academic and research experience which helped him to cover the general areas on a rotational basis in the pharmacy field, evidence synthesis and health economics and outcome research. Dr. Sajesh is currently working as an Associate Professor, School of Pharmacy, International Medical University, Malaysia. He is also an adjunct associate professor at School of Medicine, Taylor’s University, Malaysia. Dr. Sajesh is involved in several research projects that have been funded by different industries and organizations including the World Health Organization. Dr. Sajesh has an H-index of 22 (Google Scholar) and is an author of more than 85 international publications in peer-reviewed journals.

    Profile

    Sakil Syeed is currently a final-year Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Pharmacotherapy at the University of Utah College of Pharmacy. Before joining the program, he was trained as a physician and obtained his medical degree from the University of Dhaka. After graduating, he worked as a public health researcher at icddr,b in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

    His research interests are centered on generating evidence from real-world data to inform clinicians and policymakers in their decision-making. For his Ph.D. thesis, he is examining how patients and providers value innovative treatments and how to incorporate them into economic evaluation, using multiple myeloma as a case study.
