CoP Hosts Venki Ramakrishnan, Nobel Laureate, to Wrap-Up the Rising Stars Symposium
On September 20, 2019, we had the great honor of hosting Dr. Venki Ramakrishnan at the College of Pharmacy to wrap-up the Rising Stars Symposium. Dr. Ramakrishnan is a Nobel Laureate, President of the Royal Society, author of renowned book ‘The Gene Machine’, and used to be a faculty member at the U of U School of Medicine. It was fantastic to see some of the most respected researchers in STEM and medicine come together to discuss cutting-edge scientific and technological developments.
