Dr. Crouch Retires From UPCC and COP

Dr. Barbara Crouch Celebrates Retirement From the Utah Poison Control Center and CoP

2019 has been an important year for Dr. Barbara Insley Crouch. She rang in 65 years of the Utah Poison Control Center, received the CoP Honorary Alumnus Award, commemorated working at the UPCC for 30 years and as Director for 28, and is now celebrating her retirement.

Dr. Crouch reflects "It seems like yesterday that I joined the Utah Poison Control Center at the University of Utah. How could it have possibly been 30 years?

"I am incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication of the poison center staff and their steadfast commitment to reducing the burden of poisoning in Utah.

"I am indebted to the poison center staff as well as my colleagues and friends both within and outside of the University for their unwavering support and encouragement during my tenure as Director of the PCC and as a faculty member at the University of Utah."
