College of Pharmacy Students Ranked as a Finalist Team for ACCP Clinical Research Challenge
Madison Ballif (left), Abbey Smith (middle), and Matthew Savas (right) represented the University of Utah College of Pharmacy for the 2020 ACCP Clinical Research Challenge with the help of their advisors Lauren Heath and Trish Orlando. This challenge "offers teams of three pharmacy students to participate in an online journal club, and the opportunity to submit a letter of intent and a clinical research proposal."
This year is only the second year the College of Pharmacy has competed in this competition. With 86 teams starting out, the competitors worked to advance through three different rounds to make it to the finals. The threesome earned their way to a spot as one of the top eight finalist teams. Congratulations to Madison, Abbey, and Matthew!
