Nitish Khurana’s recent article chosen for the cover page of the Nov. 2021 issue of Nanomedicine
Post-doctoral researcher Nitish Khurana’s recent article “Vascular permeability in chronic rhinosinusitis enhances accumulation and retention of nanoscale pegylated liposomes” was chosen for the cover page of the November 2021 issue of Nanomedicine! The major outcomes of the research were that the extravasation of liposomes across the endothelial junction of inflamed sinonasal tissue is pronounced in chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS). This leads to the increased sinonasal tissue accumulation and retention of liposomal drug carriers in CRS.
