BRAXTEN HORNSBY RECIPIENT OF A BEST POSTER AWARD AT HCI RESEARCH RETREAT

Congratulations to Molecular Pharmaceutics Ph.D student Braxten Hornsby (Lim Lab) for his Best Poster award at the Huntsman Cancer Institute Research Retreat: Discovery, Innovation, and Celebration on April 4, 2023! Braxten's poster “Tackling Translation: Stapled Coiled-Coil Inhibitors Against Bcr-Abl for the Treatment of Chronic Myeloid Leukemia" was one of only five awarded, and comes with a $500 travel stipend.

The retreat specials guests and speakers included University of Utah President Taylor Randall, CEO of University of Utah Health, Dean of the University of Utah School of Medicine, and Senior Vice President of Health Sciences Dr. Michael Good, CEO of Huntsman Cancer Institute Dr. Mary C. Beckerle, and Chief Scientific Officer and Executive Director of Huntsman Cancer Institute Dr. Neli Ulrich. It was an amazing day of cutting-edge science and networking.
