Dr. Hamid Ghandehari Receives CRS Distinguished Service Award
Congratulations to Dr. Hamid Ghandehari for being honored with the Controlled Release Society's Distinguished Service Award! The Distinguished Service Award is presented to a CRS member who has exhibited exceptional commitment and service to the Society and is selected by the Board of Directors. The award is not automatically given each year, only in the years when there is an exceptional member who fits the criteria. The recipient of the Distinguished Service Award is a member who has provided sustained, effective, and outstanding service and leadership to CRS.
Dr. Ghandehari was presented with his award at the Opening General Session of the CRS 2023 Annual Meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 25, 2023. Nearly 20 members of the Department of Molecular Pharmaceutics were in attendance at the conference, with 11 posters and three presentations!
