Karen Wilcox (Pharmacology And Toxicology), Sixiang Shi (Radiology), Cameron Metcalf Pharmacology And Toxicology), and Shervin Rahimpour (Neurosurgery) on their The Immunology, Inflammation, and Infectious Disease (3i) Initiative 2023 Program Project Planning Grant!
The primary objective of this team is to create a comprehensive immunotherapeutic development program at the University of Utah, focusing on bridging a treatment gap for individuals suffering from Temporal Lobe Epilepsy. Over the course of a two-year funding period, the team aims to secure external funding through grant applications. Chen and their collaborators intend to establish multiple focus groups to validate experimental protocols and gather preliminary data essential for the extramural grant applications.
