We are excited to announce that Lauren Naatz (Mingnan Chen Lab) has been selected for a fellowship from the Neuro-Immunology Training Grant (NITG). Her application stood out to the advisory committee for its excellence and her remarkable potential as a graduate student.

The NITG T32 is an NIH-funded training program overseen by Drs. Ryan O’Connell and Karen Wilcox focused on specialized training in rapidly growing disciplines at the intersection of immunology and neurosciences. Lauren’s project titled “Investigating bispecific killer engagers in the EAE disease model” seeks to explore novel immunotherapies for the treatment of multiple sclerosis, a chronic inflammatory disease of the central nervous system. The NITG is dedicated to developing the next generation of researchers through a cross-disciplinary approach, while the dedicated mentoring committee focuses on selecting and supporting trainees poised for success in neuroimmunology research.

We eagerly anticipate the results of her project and her ongoing growth as a scientist. Congratulations, Lauren!
