Job Description
Oversees and coordinates a variety of College academic and student programs, including the IPPE and APPE programs. Has complex program and record keeping responsibilities under the direction of the Professional Experiential Program Director and Manager.
Responsibilities
Coordinates IPPEs
- Obtains preceptor availability for fall and summer IPPEs
- Surveys students for preferences
- Ensures compliance with site requirements prior to assigning students (CBC, immunizations, drug screen, site-‐-‐-‐specific paperwork, etc.)
- Schedules students for IPPEs
- Verifies with Student Affairs that students have completed pre-‐ admissions requirements
- Verifies that IPPE assignments are completed and grades assignments (serves as teaching assistant for IPPE courses)
- Submits grades to registrar
Coordinates APPEs
- Verifies that students have completed pre-‐APPE requirements
- Ensures compliance with site requirements prior to assigning students (CBC, immunizations, drug screen, site-‐-‐-‐specific paperwork, etc.)
- Obtains preceptor availability
- Verifies availability with preceptors before student access
- Coordinates APPE lottery and re-‐scheduling
- Ensures site descriptions and syllabi are in RXPreceptor
- Assists with course registration
- Maintains APPE Catalog
- Submits grades for APPEs
- Verifies evaluations are completed before submitting grades
- Alerts Manager to missing evaluations
- Tracks and maintains student portfolios
Supports community agency practicum
Assists PEP Manager to implement preceptor appreciation events and meet and greet
Supports Assessment Committee
Processes paperwork for new preceptors and uploads to RXPreceptor
Coordinates and ensures compliance for annual regulatory trainings
Coordinates BLS training
Builds new sites and preceptors in RXPreceptor, maintains tree structure
Facilitates onboarding of sites (initial communication)
