On October 5, 2023, Bhuvanesh Yathavan along with Tanya Chhibber, Dr. Douglas Steinhauff, Dr. Abigail Pulsipher, Dr. Jeremiah A. Alt, Dr. Hamidreza Ghandehari, and Dr. Paris Jafari published a manuscript titled “Matrix-Mediated Delivery of Silver Nanoparticles for Prevention of Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa Biofilm Formation in Chronic Rhinosinusitis” in Pharmaceutics Journal. The paper focuses on their work on the controlled release of silver nanoparticles (AgNps) with silk-elastinlike protein-based polymers (SELPs) to prevent bacterial biofilm formation in Chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) after endoscopic sinus surgery.
