Jeong-Yeon Cho, PharmD, PhD
Brief introduction
Dr. Cho is currently a post-doctoral research fellow at the Department of Pharmacotherapy, University of Utah College of Pharmacy. He earned his PharmD (2017) and PhD (2022) in Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) from Sungkyunkwan University. He has been involved in several cost-effectiveness analyses and has generated real-world evidence in various disease area (Covid-19; Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus; Hereditary angioedema; Ovarian Cancer; Breast Cancer; Hepatocellular Carcinoma; Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma; and so on). His current research interests include health economic modeling methodologies incorporating real-world evidence.
Win Khaing, MBBS, MMedSc (Public Health), PhD (Clinical Epidemiology)
Brief introduction
Dr. Win Khaing is a medical doctor, clinical epidemiologist, and public health specialist. He is currently a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Pharmacotherapy, College of Pharmacy - University of Utah, USA. Dr. Win Khaing received his medical degree (MBBS) from the University of Medicine, Mandalay, Myanmar (Burma) (2002), a Master of Medical Science in Public Health from the University of Medicine, Mandalay, Myanmar (Burma) (2016), a PhD in Clinical Epidemiology from Mahidol University in Thailand (2017) with a full scholarship from the Mahidol-Norway Capacity Building Initiative for ASEAN (CBIA), and a Diploma in Medical Education from the University of Public Health, Yangon, Myanmar (Burma) (2019). His research covers broad areas ranging from infectious diseases, non-communicable diseases, maternal and child health, vaccine evaluation, and personal productivity. Dr. Win Khaing has extensive teaching experience focused on preventive and social medicine, community medicine, biostatistics, evidence-based medicine, and critical appraisal. He is currently working on many projects in health economics, health outcomes research, evidence synthesis (systematic review, classical/network meta-analysis, scoping review, evidence gap map, umbrella review), and health technology assessment. He believes strongly in lifelong learning, continuously striving to learn and grow, to make a positive impact, and to leave a legacy through his research work and teachings.
Haeseon Lee (Sun), Pharm.D., M.S.
Brief introduction
Haeseon is currently a research fellow at the Department of Pharmacotherapy, University of Utah. She received her PharmD from Kangwon National University (2017) and MS in Regulatory Science from College of Pharmacy, Kyung Hee University (2023). Before falling in love with HERO, she worked in the pharmaceutical company as regulatory affairs. Her research interests include health technology assessment and Pharmacoeconomics, but these have a potential to expand further.

Sakil Syeed, MD
Brief introduction
Sakil is currently a 3rd-year Ph.D. student at the department of pharmacotherapy, University of Utah. Before joining the program, He was trained as a physician, obtained his medical degree from the University of Dhaka, and worked as a public health researcher at the icddr,b, Dhaka, Bangladesh, after graduation.

Khanh Duong, MSc
Brief introduction
Khanh is currently a Ph.D. student at the Department of Pharmacotherapy. She received her bachelor's degree in pharmacy from Ho Chi Minh University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Vietnam, and her master's in Health Technology Assessment from Mahidol University, Thailand. Previously, she was an instructor at Ho Chi Minh Vietnam National University.
