Sajesh K. Veettil, PhD

Brief Introduction

Sajesh Veettil is a post-doctoral research fellow in the Pharmacotherapy Outcomes Research Center of the University of Utah College of Pharmacy. He obtained his Ph.D. in Medical and Health Sciences from International Medical University in Malaysia (2019), with a focus on evidence synthesis and economic evaluation (2019). He earned a master's degree in pharmacy practice (2008) and a bachelor's degree in pharmacy (2005). He was a pharmacy academician for around 13 years at various Universities teaching both undergraduate and post-graduate students (2008-2019). He sees himself as a researcher who focuses on evidence synthesis and economic analyses. Currently he has more than 60 peer-reviewed articles to his credit.

Chia Jie Tan, PhD, BCOP

Brief introduction

Chia Jie graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons) in 2010 and practised as an oncology pharmacist for several years in Malaysia, obtaining BPS board certification in oncology in 2016. Following that, he pursued his PhD at the National University of Singapore, examining health outcomes among cancer survivors. Chia Jie has also been involved in both observational studies and interventional trials evaluating supportive care measures to ameliorate cancer- and treatment-related complications. As part of his postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Utah, he is aiming to acquire more skills and experience in health economics and outcomes research.

Chanthawat Patikorn, PharmD

Brief introduction

Chanthawat obtained his PharmD degree in 2016 and MSc degree in Social and Administrative Pharmacy in 2019 from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand. Currently, he is a PhD candidate in Social and Administrative Pharmacy in Chulalongkorn University and also a postdoctoral research fellow in the University of Utah College of Pharmacy. Chanthawat has been working on health economics and outcome research related to global health, neglected tropical diseases, and access to high-cost health technology.
